Kuehne + Nagel Portugal was elected “Best Seafreight Forwarder of the Year 2007” and “Best Airfreight Cargo Agent of the Year 2007” at an annual ceremony recently held by the trade magazine “Transportes & Negócios” in Porto.

The Kuehne + Nagel organisation in Asia Pacific was named “Seafreight Forwarder of the Year” at the inaugural Supply Chain Asia Logistics Awards held in Hong Kong, confirming the company’s leadership position in the regional seafreight sector.

With effect from January 15, 2008, Xavier Urbain will be appointed to the Management Board of Kuehne + Nagel International AG to take over the responsibility for the business unit Rail & Road Logistics.
