Recently opened in Spring this year, the Galaxy Macau resort encompasses more than 2,200 rooms, suites and villas across three world-class hotels: the award-winning and ultra-exclusive Banyan Tree Macau, Japan’s legendary Hotel Okura Macau, and the highly anticipated five-star Galaxy Hotel - at an investment of HK.9 billion.

Kuehne + Nagel’s Hotel Logistics team handled the complex process of managing international freight, warehousing and installation of over 1,000 pieces of artwork, sculpture and artifacts for the opening of the three hotels. Completed over a period of just five months, with three artwork consultants involved on the project, multiple vendors located all around the world, and tight completion timeframes onsite, this was a very challenging but rewarding project for the team.

Additional facilities at Galaxy Macau include a selection of more than 50 food and beverage outlets, including the widest selection of pan-Asian cuisine in Macau; distinctive retail shopping; the amazing Grand Resort Deck covering 52,000 square meters, and the world’s largest Sky Wave Pool covering 4,000 square meters and featuring a 350-ton white sand beach.
