Kuehne+Nagel - Global Cold Chain Training to Improve Patient Safety

F. Hoffmann - La Roche asked all of its 3PLs to do roll out Cold Chain Training. Kuehne + Nagel is the first external logistics supplier to execute the CCT on a global basis outside of Roche. The training program, when completely rolled out through all of Kuehne + Nagel‘s global Pharma Network, at more than 60 locations around the world, will enhance understanding of cold chain handling and benefit all of their pharma customers. Since January 2012 approximately 900 employees received the CCT training by Kuehne + Nagel with more then 100 training sessions conducted in 40 countries. At the end of the day, this will help patients receive quality medicines. The training at Kuehne + Nagel has opened lines of communication between the two companies that enable continuous process improvement.
