Effective January 1, 2009, Tim Schar­wath (43) will head Kuehne + Nagel’s North West Europe region. He succeeds Peter Ulber, who was appointed to the management board of Kuehne + Nagel International AG.

Tobias Jerschke (35), who has success­fully held several key positions at Kuehne + Nagel since 1998, has taken over responsibility for the company’s operations in Poland effective October 1, 2008.
