Kuehne + Nagel also has implemented real-time electronic POD (proof of delivery) transmission into its IT system with electronic filing of shipment documentation.  This approach gives stations involved in a shipment’s transport direct access to the relevant documents.

The result?  Increased service reliability, as Kuehne + Nagel has all documents available at import, prior to the consignment’s arrival.  Even if documents go missing during transportation.
